LAKELAND, Fla. β 91ΒιΆΉΣ³»is set to hold its signature philanthropic event of the year, PIVOT, aimed at raising money to fund scholarships and strategic University priorities. It will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Saddle Creek Logistics Commons in the Innovation, Science, and Technology Building, located at 4700 Research Way, in Lakeland, 91ΒιΆΉΣ³».
The annual event has raised more than $5.4 million to support students through scholarships and the unique project-based learning opportunities that they benefit from at 91ΒιΆΉΣ³» Poly.
The evening will include music, food stations, and live entertainment to celebrate companies and individuals who have made an impact on the University through their contributions and continuing support. For the first time in the history of PIVOT, guests will have the opportunity to give during the evening.

By 2022, jobs in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields will expand faster than non-STEM jobs in the United States, growing to more than nine million, according to the 91ΒιΆΉΣ³» Poly is well-positioned to address this increasing nationwide demand for high-tech professionals and, at the same time, become a burgeoning engine for 91ΒιΆΉΣ³»βs economy. Thatβs why support from partners is critical to the Universityβs success, according to Avent.
